Short Stroll 2 Coleg Powys Vaynor loop

This walk starts from the main entrance to Coleg Powys/Theatr Hafren.  Walk from here to the main road, A489, and turn right to follow outside the wooden fence.  At the end of the fence turn right down the paved footpath and across the railway bridge. Carry straight on, then bear right to cross the road by the play park. Follow the footpath to the left of the play park.  When you get to the T-junction Vaynor Stores is ahead of you.  You can carry on if you want to go to the shop.  Otherwise turn right and follow the boundary fence with the play park on your right.  Bear right at the end of it to the road and slate entrance sign to Heol Rhedyn.  Turn left on the road and go down to the footpath next to the railway tracks.  Turn right and follow the footpath to the junction.   At the junction, turn left over the railway bridge to return to the college.  If the college gates are open, go through into the grounds and around the buildings to the entrance.  If not, retrace your steps to the main road and turn left back to the college entrance.
