The Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust manage the Pwll Penarth Nature Reserve 3 miles outside Newtown. Sit and relax in the bird hides watching the sand martins darting in and out of their nesting holes or see salmon jumping the weir on the river Severn (at the right time of year, of course!)
